MOHALI: Punjab Police has arrested an ex-Armyman , Gurpreet Singh alias Guri alias Fauji , for sharing classified Army information with Pakistan's ISI, AIG Ravjot Kaur Grewal said Wednesday. The accused, a resident of Ferozepur district, has been in jail since April in a narcotics case after being caught with 1kg heroin, reports .
While in judicial custody, Gurpreet allegedly came in contact with men working for ISI operatives. Using his military background and network of ex-colleagues, he passed on classified documents and strategic details related to the Army. These include information on troop deployments and operational strategies, said police.
