Marvel Rivals developer NetEase is about to take the game offline for server maintenance on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam).
Marvel Rivals will be taken offline as part of the launch of Season 3, which introduces a new character, map and Battle Pass.
Marvel Rivals server downtime will begin at 10am BST UK time on the morning of July 11.
According to NetEase, the server downtime will last for around two hours, which means the game should come back online at 12pm BST.
"The King in Black's chains are shattering, and the Phoenix has arrived, blazing above Klyntar's skies!" NetEase explains.
"The clash of light and darkness is about to ignite! Spread your wings, sharpen your blade, and become part of this legendary conflict!
"The update begins on 11/07/2025, at 10:00:00 (BST) and is expected to last for two hours."
While downtime is never a good thing, it does give fans the chance to download and install the Season 3 update. Indeed, you'll need to install the update in order to play online.

Phoenix will throw fire at opponents, have the ability to teleport and can soar into the air and crash back down to the ground to cause damage.
