Cam Norrie and Sonay Kartal are the only British hopes left standing at Wimbledon after an emotional exit for Emma Raducanu. Norrie will be back on his favourite stage, Court 1, to face qualifier Nicolas Jarry today. Meanwhile, Kartal makes her Centre Court debut against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
The seeds have continued to tumble elsewhere. But Carlos Alcaraz came through another tricky tie against German player Jan-Lennard Struff on Friday to set up a clash with Andrey Rublev in the last-16, last up on Centre Court. There is no blazing sunshine scheduled for the weekend, but with the record temperatures expected to be replaced by clouds, the rain should hold off.
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, fifth seed Taylor Fritz, and Queen's finalist Amanda Anisimova are also in action on day seven of Wimbledon.
