The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the schedule for the Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate (TGT) Preliminary Examination for the year 2025. This announcement includes the examination dates for nine subjects: Social Science, Biology, English, Physical Education, Art, Agriculture and Horticulture, Urdu, and Music.
The Social Science exam is set for January 17, 2026, during the first shift from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while the Biology exam will take place in the second shift on the same day from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The following day, January 18, will feature the English exam in the first shift and the Physical Education exam in the second shift.
On January 24, the TGT Arts exam will occur in the first shift, followed by the Agriculture and Horticulture exams in the second shift. The Urdu exam is scheduled for January 25 in the first shift, with the Music exam following in the second shift.
More Than 1.2 Million Applications Submitted
The Commission has received applications for a total of 7,466 positions across 15 subjects, with over 1.236 million candidates applying for this recruitment drive. Applications were accepted from July 28 to August 28, covering 4,860 positions for men, 2,525 for women, and 21 for individuals with disabilities.
Previous Exams Conducted
Earlier, the Commission had announced the exam schedule for six subjects on September 20. The exam dates for Mathematics, Hindi, Science, Sanskrit, Home Science, and Commerce have already been confirmed. The dates for the remaining subjects will be announced by the Commission at a later time.
