However, only one pair could check out with the fortune and Nella and Tope had luck on their side in the last Night Cap.
As Stephen Mangan congratulated the winning couple, ITV viewers took to social to share their thoughts on the result as the Fortune Hotel doors closed once again.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Fair play, they played a consistently strong game. #TheFortuneHotel."
Another added: "I wanted Nella and Tope to win, and they won."
A third person said: "LET'S GO TOPE AND NELLA #thefortunehotel."
A fourth special media user said: "Aww Nella and Tope !! I’m so happy for you #TheFortuneHotel #FortuneHotel."
"Nella and Tope well well deserved. They played a great game," a fifth person said.
At the start of the season, the briefcase holding the fortune had a whopping £250,000 in it, the same as season one.
However, there was a little bit less in there when the game came to an end due to a devilish twist which was introduced at the start of the series and allowed the pair who held the fortune at the end of each night withdraw £10,000 and keep it.
The new rule meant that even if a couple were eliminated before the end were able to leave with their pockets substantially heavier.
Finalists Fred and Min ended up with the fortune on multiple occasions and were able to withdraw a staggering £30,000 in total, James and Yasmin got to keep £10,000 and Nella and Tope were able to take £10,000 meaning they take home £210,000.
However, presenter Stephen announced that the option had passed during the sixth episode which meant the prize fund remained at £200,000.
Before the show ended, Nella and Tope revealed they were giving Briony £5,000 after she opened about her fertility struggles earlier on in the episode.
