They spent the first two years of their lives trapped inside a dungeon - and now desperately need an owner who can show them what it is to be loved.Poor Jimmy and Hector desperately need an owner who can look after them since they were rescued from a dark and dingy shelter with minimal sunlight.
The German shepherds, now around five-year-old, were discovered locked inside a small room with "four walls, no view, no air, and no life". They were not allowed outside and were pretty much forgotten about by the outside world until Miracle's Missions stepped in to help. Rescue worker Emma shared her heartache for the poor pooches and revealed how their bad luck had continued even after their rescue.
She said: "Their back story is also particularly harrowing as they were kept in a dungeon for the first two years of their life.
"We rescued them from here two years ago and they have blossomed so much but they have had two adoptions fall through and really need to start their new lives now."
Jimmy and Hector, who have been described as "loving, friendly boys", weigh a combined 80kgs but have the spirit of puppies despite everything they've been through.
But as they're such large dogs, it has been a struggle to rehome them, with their adoption statement reading: "They are very hard to home as a pair of very large dog."
It adds: "It’s time their lives change, it’s time they see the world they cannot carry on living this way.
"Surprisingly, despite their isolation they are loving dogs, they love their humans. They are child, dog and cat tested.
"Their rescuer is desperately seeking help to find Hector and Jimmy good homes where they can spend and enjoy the rest of their lives.
"Hector and Jimmy are very attached as they only had each other for so long so it will be wonderful if they can be rehomed by one loving family and we don’t have to separate them and break their hearts."
They have both been neutered and rabies tested and are ready to travel to the UK from Egypt to meet their new owner.

Emma adds: "Excellent with dogs and people and we're previously tested with cats and kids too and did super well.
"Their boarding funds are running low so we are appealing firstly for a forever home for these lovely boys.
"But if you cannot do that, a donation towards their boarding costs would be much appreciated.
"With extra food and medical treatment lately when Hector suffered heat stroke, their bills are exceptionally high. They really cannot do another summer in Egypt.
"Thankfully Hector recovered and they are now healthy happy boys, so this boarding money could be much better spent in helping sick and injured animals in need.
"They just need a home to go to so we can make that happen!"
