WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Summer I Turned Pretty novels by Jenny Han
Season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) is certainly heating up now as Belly (played by Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) prepare for their upcoming nuptials as fans think they've worked out the show's endgame.
Last week’s episode of the Prime Video YA drama saw the couple trying to plan their ceremony after Belly’s mother Laurel (Jackie Chung) refused to go wedding dress shopping with her.
Despite Belly’s heartbreak at her mother’s decision, Jeremiah had more luck when Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Steve (Sean Kaufman) both agreed to be his best men, with the next episode expected to feature more fallout.
The countdown is on towards the wedding after Belly announced they would be tying the knot within six weeks after Jeremiah’s hasty engagement proposal.
Now, it looks like nothing can stop Jeremiah and Belly walking down the aisle - even Conrad’s lingering feelings for her.
Many fans of the TV series are curious to know whether Belly and Jeremiah will actually get hitched and are looking to the books for answers and spoilers - here’s everything you need to know.

Do Belly and Jeremiah get married in The Summer I Turned Pretty books?According to TSITP fandom page, no, Belly and Jeremiah don’t get married in the books.
Season three adapts material from the third novel in Jenny Han’s beloved TSITP trilogy, We’ll Always Have Summer.
In the novel, the couple nearly walks down the aisle after Jeremiah’s proposal to win Belly back after cheating on her.
But on the evening before the wedding, Belly reveals to Jeremiah that Conrad is still in love with her after he confessed his true feelings.
Jeremiah confronts his older brother, and the siblings get into a fight over Belly and which of them loves her more.
Conrad convinces Jeremiah to reconcile with Belly after their fight.
Jeremiah then returns to Belly and says they can only get married if she promises she only loves him.
Unfortunately, Belly says a part of her will always love Conrad and this admission serves as the dealbreaker for Jeremiah.
The pair split for good and the wedding is called off with Jeremiah disowning Conrad and leaving.
In the novel, there are hints that Belly and Jeremiah’s ill-fated relationship isn’t going to stand the test of time even before the night before the wedding.
In the run-up to the ceremony, Belly is left with the mental load of organising the whole ceremony rather than Jeremiah helping her.
They also fail to get an apartment because Jeremiah doesn’t have a great credit history and his lack of financial stability means they get turned down.
Although this is how the novel goes, the TV adaptation could take a different route and fans will have to see how the story pans out on screen.
