'Defining movies of the 2000s' will stream totally free for one week only to mark anniversary

An iconic romantic-fantasy series will stream completely free of charge on YouTube this month for one week only.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the publication of the very first Twilight novel by Stephanie Meyer, all five films from the beloved saga will play in a loop on Lionsgate’s official .

Fans who devoured the books and film adaptations will get a chance to watch along with millions of other enthusiasts of Meyer’s groundbreaking vampire romance.

Starring Kristen Stewart as awkward teen Bella Swann and Robert Pattinson as her undead boyfriend Edward Cullen, the series inspired a generation of fans and is still considered the benchmark for the YA romance genre to this very day.

While the Twilight Saga has also sparked its fair share of controversies, fans still can’t get enough of Bella and Edward’s forbidden love affair all these years later.

The stream will kick off on Monday, 7th September at 12 noon Pacific Time (7pm British time) and conclude on Sunday, 14th September at 11:59 pm PT (06:59 am UK).

Moreover, fans will also get the chance to revisit the films on the big screen this October to mark the 20th anniversary.

The event is arriving at just the right time as all five movies were recently removed from Netflix at the start of July this year.

This cultural event shouldn’t be missed by readers and moviegoers alike who are looking for a dose of nostalgia this Halloween season.
