Ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati is once again raising the tensions of opposition parties. The BSP has begun working on a major strategy ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. The BSP is planning to hold major district-level meetings to woo the Muslim vote bank.
According to media reports, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati will address a special divisional-level meeting of the party's Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan in Lucknow on Wednesday (October 29). This is part of the party's efforts to strengthen its reach among the Muslim community.
The meeting will be held on October 29 at the party headquarters in Lucknow.According to a statement issued by the BSP's Uttar Pradesh office on Tuesday, the meeting will be held on October 29th at 11 am at the party's state headquarters at 12 Mall Avenue. This will be a special divisional-level meeting as part of the BSP's efforts to further integrate the Muslim community into the party. The party said Mayawati will be the chief guest at the event.
Will discuss the instructions of the Election Commission on SIRThe statement further said that the BSP president will also discuss the recent directives issued by the Election Commission regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. Earlier this month, the BSP held a public meeting in Lucknow on October 9, the death anniversary of the party's founding Dalit leader Kanshi Ram.
Mayawati became active before the 2027 elections.BSP supremo Mayawati is actively working to energize the party and its workers ahead of the 2027 assembly elections. Earlier, on October 9th, Mayawati organized a massive rally to mark the death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram, sending a powerful message to the opposition.
Mayawati said, "This time, along with me, all of you have also come in lakhs to this place to pay your tribute to revered Kanshi Ram ji and broken all previous records in terms of crowd."
