Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): Three members of a family lost their lives after their motorcycle was hit by a Bolero on the Indore-Ichhapur highway near Roshia Phata on Tuesday evening.
The deceased include a 13-year-old boy, his father, and grandfather.
The accident occurred around 5 PM when a Bolero collided with a motorcycle carrying the family from Bherukheda village. A Tavera vehicle coming from the opposite direction also got involved, worsening the impact.
The family was on their way to the Singaji Maharaj shrine. Three others were seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.
Police from the Deshgaon outpost confirmed the accident and stated that an investigation is underway.

Laxman and Vinod died on the spot while Anshu survived to his injuries en route to the hospital.
Anshu's grandmother Radhabai was also on the bike who sustained serious injuries and was taken to Khandwa Medical College along with two injured Tavera passengers.
Dr. Meenal Solanki attended the victims and said Anshu showed no signs of life upon arrival. “His eye pupils were dilated. I performed CPR for 20 minutes, but there was no response. He was declared dead.”
The impact caused severe damage to both the Bolero and Tavera. The accident led to a temporary traffic jam which was later cleared. The accident has led the community of Chichgohan and Bherukheda in grief.
