1st Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025 – Thrilling Clashes at Airoli. The grand finale of the 1st Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organized by the Airoli Sports Association, concluded on a thrilling note at Airoli, Navi Mumbai, on 10th July. The tournament, held from 6th to 10th July, showcased outstanding performances from some of the best young paddlers in the state.
In the men’s singles final, Jash Modi emerged victorious with a stunning 4–1 win over Anish, sealing his dominance with scores of 9–11, 11–6, 11–5, 11–8, and 14–12. His performance also earned him the Player of the Day title. The women’s singles final saw Ananya Chande edge past Shweta with a solid overall record of 3–1, clinching the title in style. In the Under-19 girls’ category, Divyanshi Bhowmick defeated Swara in straight sets (11–9, 11–6, 11–8), claiming the championship.
In another impressive performance, Kaushal displayed dominance against Johan in the men’s division, winning all four sets (11–5, 11–9, 11–3, 11–8) to take home a commanding 4–0 victory.
Lastly, in the Under-19 boys’ category, Kushal Chopda was crowned the winner for his consistent run throughout the tournament.
The final day of the tournament saw Jash Modi crowned as the Men’s Singles Champion and also honored as the Player of the Day. In the Women’s Singles, Ananya Chande claimed the title with a confident performance. The Under-19 Boys winner was Kushal Chopda, while Divyanshi Bhowmick emerged victorious in the Under-19 Girls category.
