The month of Pitru Paksha is going to start from next month. In Pitru Paksha, people belonging to the Hindu religion perform rituals for the peace of the souls of their ancestors. It is believed that this makes the Pitru Devta happy and blesses them. However, many times we make mistakes during Pitru Paksha. This makes our ancestors angry. We get many faults. There are many problems, including unrest in the house. If you too want to pray for your ancestors in the month of Pitru Paksha, then do not do these five things even by mistake.

Vindhyadham's Acharya Pt. Anupam Maharaj said that ancestors are our gods. This Paksha is starting on 8 September and is ending on 21 September. In these 15 days, those who do not have parents should not shave. Do not cut hair. Do not consume milk and curd. Do not eat Nenua and gourd vegetables. Women should not do makeup if their mother-in-law is not there. Do perform Shradh on her date. Do not offer water with sesame. We have to pay special attention to all these things regularly, every 15 days.
Do not start any new work.
Pt. Anupam Maharaj said that in Pitru Paksha, get the worship done by an Acharya or a Purohit only. Do not worship arbitrarily. If you have knowledge and know the rules, then you can do it yourself. Do not punish the cow, the dog, and the crow. Do not kill them. Follow celibacy for 15 days. Do not buy new clothes, shoes, a bike or car. Keep complete control over your words. Do not start any new business or purchase land in these 15 days. Recite Vishnu Stotra. By following these rules, one can avoid defects in Pitru Paksha.
