Often, many celebrities in the film industry work hard and prepare for their characters. Some work on their body and some on their language. Actress Divya Khosla has also done something similar for her upcoming film 'Ek Chatur Naar', but her preparation for the role has surprised her a bit. Divya has revealed that to understand the character of the film, she lived in a slum in Lucknow and experienced the life there.
Real-life experience to get into character
In 'Ek Chatur Naar', Divya is playing the role of a woman living in a slum. To make this character real, she did not only rely on the script, but lived that life herself. She spent a few days in a slum in Lucknow without makeup, with a simple salwar-kameez and a black thread around her neck, so that she could understand the emotions and circumstances of the character deeply.
Sharing this experience on her social media, she wrote, 'It was a unique and life-changing experience. It gave me a glimpse of the life that is often away from our eyes.'
The first look poster of the film came out.
In the first poster of the film, Divya is seen in the role of a housewife. She has vegetables in her hands and a smile on her face. At the same time, Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is in the lead role with her in this film, is standing in a formal suit holding a gun. It is clear from the poster itself that this film is going to bring a serious subject to the screen.

Will be released on 12 September
'Ek Chatur Naar' is produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Zeeshan Ahmed. The film will be released in theaters on 12 September 2025. Although not much information about the story has been shared yet, the tone of the film looks light-hearted, witty, and perhaps even somewhat sarcastic.
