Apple has rolled out its Shop with a Specialist over Video service in India, giving users a new way to explore Apple products online with real-time help. The feature connects you to an Apple Store team member over a secure, one-way video call, allowing you to ask questions, compare devices, and figure out financing or trade-in options without leaving home.
India is now the second country globally to get this service, following Apple’s broader push to build a retail footprint here. Earlier this year, Apple also brought its Apple Store app to India, further localising how it supports users digitally.
The video call option runs Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. IST, and works across iOS and non-iOS devices. While the Specialist appears on video, users stay on audio making it more about product guidance than a sales pitch.
You can also get help with purchase decisions, including EMI options, exchange programs, and figuring out which model makes the most sense for your use case. Whether you're buying your first iPhone or upgrading to the latest Pro model, this service is designed to simplify that process especially for those who prefer a bit of human guidance before hitting Buy.
It’s clearly aimed at users who want a more personal touch when shopping online, especially with the iPhone 16 lineup now front and centre.
