Thailand plans measures to boost consumption and tourism

Thailand is considering tax measures to boost consumption before the end of the year, a deputy finance minister said on Friday.

The economy is expected to grow more than 2% this year, Julapant Amornvivat said, adding that there would also be policies to help the tourism sector in the fourth quarter.
