Jharkhand Board: The Jharkhand Academic Council has announced major reforms to the 10th and 12th grade exams. These will be implemented from 2026. New Features of the Jharkhand Board Exam

30-50-20” assessment formula

JAC has introduced a structured framework to implement this change, dividing the exam into three parts:

30 percent objective questions (MCQs):
For 30 marks, focused on basic knowledge and quick reasoning.
50 percent subjective questions:
For 50 marks, short- and long-answer questions, now analytical and application-oriented.
20 percent practical/internal assessment
The remaining 20 marks will come from practical exams, projects, or internal assessment, emphasizing continuous assessment and practical learning.
