The State Bank of India has important news for candidates. The SBI Clerk Mains 2025 exam date has been announced. Candidates who qualified for the SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam and have been eagerly awaiting the main exam date will soon be able to appear for the SBI Clerk Mains exam.

The State Bank of India will conduct the Junior Associate Clerk Mains exam on November 21st at various exam centers across the country. This exam will be conducted to fill a total of 5,180 positions.
Main Exam Pattern
The SBI Junior Associate Mains exam will consist of 190 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks. Candidates will be asked questions from General and Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Computer Aptitude. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Candidates will also be subject to negative marking of one-fourth of a mark for each wrong answer in this exam. Candidates who pass this exam will be called for a Local Language Proficiency Test.
Local Language Proficiency Test
Candidates who pass the main exam will be invited to appear for a Local Language Proficiency Test. In the Local Language Proficiency Test, candidates will be asked 30 non-verbal questions worth 30 marks. In addition, a verbal test worth 20 marks will also be conducted.
Important Preparation Tips
Candidates do not have much time left to prepare for the Clerk exam. Therefore, all candidates are advised to take a mock test daily and solve previous year question papers to strengthen their preparation. Additionally, make sure to revise the topics you have studied so far during your preparation.
