Arsenal supporters poked fun at Ange Postecoglou during the Gunners' 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest. Martin Zubimendi fired the north London outfit to victory at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, finding the net either side of half-time.

The 26-year-old midfielder, who arrived from Real Sociedad in the summer, put Arsenal ahead with a brilliant volley from just outside the box. Viktor Gyokeres doubled the Gunners' lead just after the break before Zubimendi doubled his tally for the afternoon.

Towards the end of the game, the home fans started poking fun at Postecoglou. At first, Arsenal supporters chanted, 'Sacked in the morning', before bellowing, 'Are you Tottenham in disguise?'"

The new Forest boss, who replaced Nuno Espirito Santo during the international break, failed to beat the Gunners during his spell as Spurs manager. Postecoglou drew his first North London Derby and lost the other three.

Arteta is now unbeaten in five games against the 60-year-old. Speaking to reporters after the game, the Arsenal boss insisted that there's still room for improvement, despite his side's comprehensive performance.

On whether the Gunners have gone to the next level this season, Arteta said: "That's what we hope. But we need to go game by game. It doesn't matter what we want to do, what we have to do. It's not what we have to now, work today, again, review.

"There are things that we have to get better at to be able to score even more and be more dominant in certain phases of the game. And go game by game. And I'm prepared to win in Bilbao, which is going to be incredible.

"I hope you all go because it's one of the best places to go. I'm also from Spain, that's where I'm from. I think you're going to enjoy it, guys. And an incredible stadium atmosphere to play football."

Meanwhile, Postecoglou seemed unfazed by the chants from Arsenal supporters. As quoted by the club website, former Tottenham boss said: "They’re a good side, but it’s still disappointing when you lose.

"The second goal took it away from us, but I can’t fault the players in terms of their endeavour and their effort. It’s been a disruptive week for them and they’re human beings, which you have to take into context.

"We’re disappointed with the outcome, but you can’t fault the effort of the players. I wouldn’t say we had control of the game, but the boys were working really hard to keep them away from our goal.

"Even when we were a goal down we had a few good chances towards the end of the first half. I felt if we could hang in there then we could get a grip on the game, but we conceded the second just after half-time.

"They’re an experienced team and they know how to handle that, so there are lessons in there for us as well. From my point of view, what’s important now is to start work towards the next game and have some training sessions with the lads, which will be invaluable for me, the staff and the players themselves.

"We’ve got a number of players who haven’t really kick-started their Forest careers yet, but we have games coming in which they can, and that’s really exciting for me."
